I want to leave my mark. My ultimate dream is to travel to all parts of the world, parts known and parts unknown. I want to swim the ocean and sail every sea and jump out of an airplane and maybe ride on a camel. I want to dig my toes into the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean and climb a mountain or two. I want to visit a farmer’s market and ride the rails through the most rural parts of a country and lie under the hot sun, and swing from a rope tied to a tree. I want to be free. I want to carve my name into park benches and tunnels and let my name sink into the Earth under my feet. I want to travel to the biggest cities and walk in the giant crowds of people, just so when I step out of that crowd I’ll stand out. I want to become the Earth and make a lasting impression on the world. I want to leave my mark.

I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple…I think it’s the right thing to do, so whether it costs him votes or not - again, it’s not about votes. It’s about people. It’s the right thing to do as a human being.
